Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Man...I think I'll just fade away. I can't do it. There's no way I'm reaching these highs again and I just don't know that I'll bother trying. Maybe I can take an elder statesmen role if my kids want to take the baton from me.
But I'll almost have to step back because there's just no topping this and I've already put in my 30+ years of wandering the wilderness. I've earned that right.
I’d like to say I’ll do the same, but I’d be lying to myself. I can’t help but root for the Chiefs. They’re a part of me at this point. (As pathetic as that sounds)

It all depends if my kids or brother will be carrying the torch at that point. If so I think I'd gear up each Sundays and help them carry on the tradition, if not it'll be hard not to fade back for a while. [Reply]
He won the HR derby too. 2-2 with 2 HRs in the game. He just caught one at the warning track and then threw a laser to home plate. Guy is just born to be king. [Reply]

The work must be finished on the new Casa Mahomes, because he has put his other home on the market.
The three-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath house is 4,759 square feet and sits on a 1.4 acre lot, according to Realtor.com. It’s being sold for $2.9 million.
Here is a description from Realtor.com: “Right off of Country Club Plaza, this stunning ranch style home is in the sought after subdivision of Sunset Hill. Sitting on over an acre of land, the property features a putting green, heated pool and hot tub with tons of privacy. Security gate added, as well as an expanded garage that can now fit 5 vehicles. Inside the home, you’ll find a completely updated sunroom and revamped primary bathroom and closet on the main level with a security system protecting the home. Downstairs opens up to a finished lower level where you can kick back and relax in the added entertainment space, bar and additional half bath.”
Mahomes bought the house for $1,925,000 on Feb. 8, 2019, according to Jackson County documents.
Photos from inside the house show Mahomes’ shoe room, which once held his 180 pairs of sneakers. That’s empty now, another indication that his new house is ready.
Moving out to live with the gated rich people. They built him or modified 2 different roads to get Mahomes to move out there.
I can see it. Even if you have one of the best security systems in the world, that Plaza property wasn't secure. Lots of crazy people out there. He has 2 little kids. Gotta protect them. [Reply]
