They were calling Jordan the GOAT before he even got his 3rd ring. Mahomes will have the same case as MJ as having the most dominant peak even if he doesn't catch up in rings.

But damn...you have a kid who has absolutely destroyed all Brady's numbers to the same point in their careers...and if you watch the games...come ON man...

This was a question that got circulated around every sports show after Mahomes won his 2nd SB: "Does Mahomes have to match or surpass Brady in SBs to take his title away as the GOAT by the time he's done with his career?"
The very fact the question is even being asked pretty much signals that Brady has already lost, and Mahomes is the better player regardless of how many Super Bowls he has. They won't say it, but it's people going, "Well, there's this superior QB, but just because he doesn't have a horseshoe up his ass and doesn't resort to cheating, he might not win as many SBs, so.... shouldn't there be some way to say he's just fucking better end of story?"
