You know who impressed me today? DOD. He made some plays but more importantly, he was in position more often than not. He was disciplined today. [Reply]

I've been pushing for more PT from him all year. I agree! [Reply]
I’m at the point of just enjoying the ride because the last couple losses and the defense playing so uninspired almost that I got in that mode of really looking more into future DC candidates instead of the playoffs and figure it’s almost certain he would look outside the organization. And being only a SB win away from being able to walk away my best guess would be Reid really wouldn’t mess around with a first time DC. He would want a vet. But it’s possible there’s been a succession plan in place. Promoting from within would really really surprise me. But if he does I personally think without a doubt it would be Mike Smith. I really like the job he has done with the OLBs and pass rush. Doesn’t mean I think promoting within is the best way to go. I just want to chill and enjoy this playoff ride and the DC situation can wait. But amongst the shit on that side of the ball I gotta hand it to Smith being a bright spot [Reply]

They held a team that scored 33 on them a few weeks ago to 3 points. That’s difficult to do in the NFL, regardless. [Reply]

Thus my calling them opportunistic. Martin still had over 100 yards and they were moving the ball at about 8.5 yards a clip.It reminded me a lot of a game where the Chargers shut us out because we kept turning it over. We would move the ball with no problem but then turn it over.
Much the same here. We didn't necessarily stop them a lot. Just took advantage of some mistakes and forced the some fumbles. They don't get called for holding its probably 21-10 instead of 28-3 in the 3rd. Not saying they would have won but that changes the game a lot. [Reply]

It's almost as if today's nfl likes speed at the lb position [Reply]
