We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Death lags birth by several years in most cases. Just throwing that out there..

Surely we can all agree that ANY large gathering, particularly indoors, is not a wise course of action at the present time.

The recovered number has done nothing but go up and is currently at it's highest levels of recovered\deaths. And that's with several states not even reporting recoveries such as Kansas.

Looking at the progression of Covid I would say a month from symptoms to dying is the norm. Lewdog's post says it perfectly. We will have a much better idea come around Aug 1.

I really hope it stays low and my thinking is we do have a better idea how to treat Covid now then Italy\NY did in the early days. So less vent usage, medicate for blood clots and more steroids seems to help alot.

Sorry, little Sally. Grandpa had to die so we could jumpstart the economy a little sooner. You understand, right?

What do you think the results would have been telling black people that they can't protest against racial injustice?

Phoenix hospitals are bringing in refrigerated trucks to deal with the potential body count, but let's talk about muh freedoms.

When is the last time 1 in every 400 people in NYC died from all other diseases combined within a couple months?

Take the politics outside, bro. I have refrained from getting into details about that specifically because of politics so......

Fauci is testifying today about returning to work and school amid the pandemic. It will be interesting to see what he has to say.

Huh. Kansas phase 3 says no gatherings over 45 people yet there was a protest last night in downtown Lawrence and no one bothered to do anything about it.

So I guess we are back to Covid only strikes if you're not gathered en masse for protesting and rioting?

It is not a political question do you think it would have made things worse or better?

Yes, actually it is but I will humor you to this length, when people peacefully protested sheltering orders they were told "safety trumps your right to protest". Sadly it gets political when you start picking and choosing what protest can spread covid and what protest you want to shut down so you don't spread covid.

I will leave it at that.
