They opened movie theaters back up? WTF? They haven't even opened up here?

Fun fact: AZ, TX, and FL all opened up early.

Closed for 30 days starting tonight.

This is what happens with citizens refuse to use basic precautions with this virus in large population areas.

Minnesota has pinpointed bars as the source of hundreds of infections , which lends some credence to the theory.
Interesting stat:

Protests following the May 25 police killing of George Floyd do not appear to have contributed as much as feared to the rise in cases among young adults.

Health officials worried about heightened risks of the virus spreading among people singing and shouting — and even gasping and coughing when tear gas was used to disperse crowds. On the other hand, outdoor air has proved an effective deterrent to virus transmission.

Free testing clinics in Minneapolis and St. Paul found a relatively low rate of infections — roughly 1.5% of the more than 7,700 demonstrators and others tested at these sites over the prior two weeks.

Makes sense. Therefore, we should close beaches and baseball.

What is crazy is that NY still has over 35,000 active cases than those three states combined.

That's what pisses me off. The way they are wording things, I fully expect her to say masks are required until a vaccine is available.

While I understand the frustration, what difference does it make? They could give you a date, then extend, then extend, then extend.... The final result is the same.

Yeah love how some of the mayors and governors lower the boom on any fun in the sun on the beaches despite many infectious disease experts saying that the beach, with this virus, could be one the safer places you could be be.

Because people want to hear a plan, not just off the cuff bullshit. Even the idiot Mayor in KC had a timeline he was talking about.

When you give a timeline or some other criteria it says you have thought this through and know what it is your are looking for. When you just say this is now the law without anything else it sounds like you are just doing shit to do it.

I am too. She is a real piece of work. She punted everything to the localities then apparently when some weren't doing what her and her butt buddies wanted then she decided to be Queen again.

Cases are up over 44k today but deaths look to be the same if not just a touch lower than last Monday. So the trend of increased cases and lower deaths is holding for the moment.
