As awesome as this would be, we all know this won’t happen. IF the Chiefs get the first seed, we know how this ends. One and done. The Chiefs will lose their first playoff game, regardless of seeding and home field advantage.
The real question is if Sutton “retires”. He won’t be fired. Andy has proved he won’t do that. How you go multiple seasons with the one of the worst defense in the NFL and not make a change is beyond my comprehension. You can purge the unit every year and draft new players every year, but if you have the same suckfest, who is responsible for that? [Reply]

Our D hasn’t really been one of the leagues worst until this year. Yes, there were incomprehensible collapses that deserve a firing - especially after it happens multiple times but on the whole the D hasn’t been bad until this year. [Reply]
There have to be defensive coaches out there that can teach and develop players. That don't have to wait a week or 2 before adjusting. Our secondary coaching staff is nonexistent during games. How can Emmit Thomas and Al Harris be this bad? I still think it starts at the top, the DC makes things happen. It's time to clean out on the defensive side of the ball.
I want Andy Heck gone too.

Andy Heck has done a fantastic job this year. Erving has actually looked like he belongs and Wylie/Reiter were picked up off the street and have done a decent job filling in. [Reply]
