In order to prevent us wasting precious years of Patrick Mahomes' career, Veach needs to work some magic this offseason. What's your advice for him? [Reply]

There are probably 31 other teams with better OL's than what we had in the SB.
The SB isn't even a point of conversation. That atrocity is a rarity.
Fanboys here don’t seem to understand that replacing 2 quality tackles entirely, a center that got his shit pushed in constantly on run plays, a second year G/C who is measurably better on run downs than passing and a Wylie size black hole at the other guard...is currently woefully still broken.
The MOST important task for Veach is to rebuild the line to be as good or better for opening day 2021 as it was for opening day 2020.
Beyond ANYTHING ELSE......Veatch needs to fix this OL and give Mahomes the ability to set and survey, instead of running around the field all game long.
At this point.... we have a world class LG.....a medical doctor who sat out last season (and not much in 19), a turnstile in Wylie, a broke Dick in Long who blew leading up to him walking away, a part time center that couldn’t unseat Reiter, a rookie Covid causality, Remmers waiting for a contract offer, a couple of practice squad JAGS.
At this point...signing Long, knowing the scope and gravity of fixing this line is......disappointing to say the least, and he’s got a whole lot of work ahead of him...a LOT. [Reply]

Well, since we play a game tomorrow, I guess we're fucked, huh? [Reply]

That's a good price. Could have done that easy. Hope we get Juju [Reply]

Jesus Christ man. Chill out.
They’re not going to going into 2021 with a pair of tackles they feel as good about as they did entering 2020, with as few questions. Injuries drove that.
But they are going to go into it stronger inside (especially if they draft a C high or sign Andrews). And they’ll either have a vet who is reasonably similar to Fisher and a high upside rookie, or two high upside guys.
Stop acting like the season starts tomorrow. [Reply]
