OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

anyway, 7 TDs and no picks on one ankle, arguably the greatest playoffs ever by a QB

That has to be a Super Bowl record, right?
It was easily one of the best games he's ever played and he did it on a bad ankle. Have seen some commenters say Hurts outplayed him but that couldn't be any further from the truth. Hurts was very good, but Mahomes was nearly perfect.

Philly lost by 3 and Hurts gave 7 points to KC. His fumble cost them the game. One of his big arguments for MVP was that he doesn’t have turnovers. Well tonight Hurts had a massive turnover, absolutely massive.

mahomes did everything he needed to do. hes going to be ounished a bit for his efficiency by casuals but who cares

also people not considering the context of the first half and how we had the ball for like 8 minutes bc of the fumble return TD+philly’s offense extending drives

Absolutely. Niners in the 1980’s had a consistent Top 2 or Top 3 defense.

I wasn’t paying attention but I assume he was named Super Bowl MVP?

This has to be one of the best seasons for a QB ever, right?

5,000 yard regular season
Set the record for total yards in a season
Passing yards leader
TDs leader
MVP
Super Bowl win
Super Bowl MVP

It’s the best. You also have to add that he was playing hurt and we traded Hill.

It’s going to be hard to beat this.
