McCormack’s got size and a higher ceiling. Come on, people, let’s not act like it’s hard to figure out why he’s getting playing time. Plus, he’s not even getting a ton of minutes.
His scoring efficiency has been terrible so far overall, but it’s bound to go up. I don’t think he somehow got far less efficient than before. Just a small sample.
If Lightfoot isn’t blocking shots, he’s generally contributing very little. [Reply]

Lightfoot is a far better individual and team defender than McCormack and doesn’t hurt the team’s offense through inefficient high usage like McCormack (who is now taking a more substantial offensive role than he did before and showing himself to be incapable of it). If this team is going to play a big, Lightfoot is the better option. [Reply]

Braun was a pretty consistent shooter last year but he’s been up and down to start this year. I’m not sure I’d describe anyone on this team as consistent yet other than maybe Wilson.
I guess what Lightfoot brings is pretty consistent. [Reply]
Don't get me wrong-- I'm glad that KU is no longer playing at the same time as the Chiefs later today but I just saw on Twitter the Tarleton State (the team that cancelled due to COVID reasons) is NOW trying to schedule a game with Mizzou for this coming Tues. night. [Reply]
