The first games of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) are this weekend. I haven't followed it and at this point I'm not that interested. However, a friend called me all excited. He said CBS will be carrying all the games... that seems interesting. I seen an NFL Network logo on the AAF website... that seems interesting.
What's your take? Is your DVR set? Why should I care?

The biggest drop off I see is the QB position. Playing QB is hard. The NFL doesnt even have 32 good starting QB's. Then there are 32 backups. So.... your seeing the 65th at best, QB to play football.
Maybe find some diamonds in the rough in the OL/DL but I doubt there is a QB out there who will prove he is a starting QB in the NFL.
I disagree. I think the biggest beneficiaries of this league are qbs. If this thing survives long enough, you’ll develop more Kurt Warners and Jon Kitnas. Kit s was a far cry from Warner, but he did deserve a job in the NFL for over a decade. [Reply]
