Teams will jump us to take a cornerback and we'll end up taking another 6'2" 285 soft DE/DT tweener with no real position. [Reply]

Or signed him and his shit went out in our uniform [Reply]
So, if the Chiefs were to acquire Ramsey and his remaining $3m cap hit for 2019, and extend Ramsey/Jones now or roll over the remaining $21.1m over to 2020, they’d be sitting on at least $51m in cap space(not including Ramsey’s 5th year option).

The time is now for trading him. Playing him is stupid unless you dont really want to trade him.
I understand he has a reputation for being a great corner. But, what if, he plays like shit 4 out of the next 6 games? Or, he could play really well till the trade deadline? Point is, this league sometimes acts like, “what have you done for me lately?” That could override stuff like prestige, past accomplishments, etc.
And yeah you’re right in a way, playing him could expose him to injury. On the other hand, play him now and he could also stay healthy, perform really well and then he maximizes his own value or it could go the other way around. Its a risk. [Reply]
If you give me the option to pay an elite DL or an elite CB, I'm taking the CB in this modern game. Period.
Ten years ago that would have been very different.
We led the league in sacks last year, in large part, because of our DL play. The pass rush was nullified against good QB who could make decisions quickly and get rid of the ball (see Tom fucking Brady).
What we lacked most was coverage. A guy who you could have put on Edelman and said "do not let him get open" ...a Ramsey-esque player.

The game has changed. This is the Big12.
Yeah but to get that corner it’s gonna cost two number 1s and then some. You already have the Jones just need to pay. [Reply]

I think the "Mahomes is only 24 the window will be open for a while" thing is just more reason to actually be more aggressive and make the trade or move or whatever.
As long as you have him and Andy, you'd imagine you'll be right there as a contender and if this busted out, you've got time to recover. [Reply]
