Had to let Ballard go too, the GM has to be some dude who use to work for the Eagles so he won't even question what Reid wants to do, no checks no balances. [Reply]

Someone well versed in the Ron Wolf/Ted Thompson way of building a roster.
If John Dorsey heads back to Green Bay as expected, that pretty much rules out Eliot Wolf for the next decade, so he'd probably be the first guy I'd interview. [Reply]

It doesn't really matter who his replacement is. We knew what we had in Dorsey. We knew we had a guy who was very good at finding talent. It doesn't get much better than that.
Sure, he whiffed on FA's and overpays at times.
Who ever comes in and replaces him will likely do worse, or as good at best.

Pretty obvious it's just going to be a Reid yes man or they could have moved on this early and promoted Ballard. [Reply]
There are few news stories I can remember generating as many stunned, dumbfounded reactions as John Dorsey being out in KC. Very respected
Yea when you fire a GM who's doing a good job when there's so many bad ones, and hell there hasn't been a good one here in forever, it tends to make people wonder what the fuck you're doing. [Reply]
