How about you win in the playoffs when the opposing team spots you 24 points? Or at the very least, how about you muster up more than 7 ****ing points for the remaining 3 quarters after the team you're playing roars back from that huge deficit?

He's a loser, and he behaved like a loser during and after that game. He had given up by the beginning of the 4th quarter.
There is definitely something wrong with his game. The Texans wins have been the same since he got there. He hasn't made them better.

If we traded up for Watson in 2017, Patrick would have gone to New Orleans.

Imagine the AFC with no Patrick Mahomes and also Deshaun Watson has Andy Reid in that reality?

Chiefs would still be going to the Super Bowl.

I swear we would’ve given the Bills all they could handle with Chad Henne playing qb. I’m not sure they would’ve beat us to be honest.

Watson's great, but man I'm tired of seeing every other Watson tweet mention his "disastrous" situation.

He did have a top 3 season this year statistically and PFF grades.

But how much of those stats had to do with always playing catch up & garbage time? Also, with the awful start, they had NO pressure at all most of the season.

And his situation wasn't THAT bad. According to PFF, Fuller and Cooks were both top 20 WRs, and his OL & run game were similar to the Chiefs. His defense sucked, but was it that much worse than the 2018 Chiefs defense?

Dude had Hopkins for 3 seasons and never came close to Mahomes. He has one great season statistically comparable to Mahomes and he's all of a sudden close to his equal because everyone perceives he had it so bad in Houston this year?

Nobody is Mahomes equal.

Yeah, Texans were pretty stacked in 2018 and they got bounced in the wild card with Watson only putting up 7.

1. No one is turning down $110 million guaranteed

2. The Texans went from being a regular bad team to being the worst managed team in the league by far. They have a person who was a damn team chaplain running the team ffs! I don't think he thought it would get this bad this quickly.

You can't amass these stats just in "garbage time."
8th in completions
3rd in completion%-70.2% (1st-Rodgers 70.7%)
1st in yards (4,823)
1st in yds/att (8.9)
2nd in yds/gm (301)
25 pts above NFL avg QBR
2nd in Passer rtg (112.4)

That's a stupid narrative.

And yeah, their defense for the past two years has been significantly worse than the Chief's defense in 2018. In particular KC at least had a semblance of a pass rush. HOU hasn't had one since at least 2018.

In 22 defensive categories, HOU ranks worse than 27th in 14 of them, and better than 20th in only 4 of them. They're disastrously bad on defense.

The Texans in September were worse than a “regular bad team”.

Bill O’Brien had already traded away Hopkins for nothing and was in the process of facing a team revolt led by JJ Watts.

And of course Cal McNair was the owner.

And Watson signed a contact extension knowing all of that.

They're not trading him in the division. If any other team had the #1 it would be an interesting trade conversation though.

You draft Lawrence in the hopes he can be as good as Watson (MVP candidate if the Texans had won more). He's the 2nd best young quarterback in the league right now.

Cooks just had debatably his best year ever playing with Watson. Fuller always had a great connection with him, but could not stay healthy.

Also, WTF do you mean he had 1 great season? Have you been in a coma these last 3 years. No one is saying he's Mahomes. Stop hating because he doesn't play at 1 Arrowhead. There's such things as other good NFL players outside of our guys.

Not many are saying his supporting cast sucks. And it's not like Watson gets compared to Mahomes the way Lamar or Allen were.

Watson is in a disastrous situation because he is working for an absolute lunatic who is spying on his players, who traded their best player away because he just wasn't feeling it, who littlefingered his way into power then hired a crony GM, then littlefingered his way into hiring a total yes man coach while completely ignoring the input of the most important player on the team.

JJ Watt is one of the classiest people in football and is a staple of the Texans and even he wants out.

We're beginning to get to the point where people are starting to ridiculously overrate Deshaun Watson.
