He did this earlier this week and it was pretty high IQ basketball (he got an open shot for a 2 for 1). Here I think he's just bored. But who can blame him? Meaningless games with random scrubs named Alex Caruso and Mo Wagner is a bit of a step down from what he's used to.
I don't expect he'll play for much longer this year before he starts sitting out some games. Hope he's still playing next week in Toronto, though. [Reply]
:-) Scraping the bottom of the barrel as an apologist when you have to name the bottom of the depth chart guys and say "see, he's got no one to play with!!!" Like, does ANY NBA team have shit down there? [Reply]

This works a bit better if said team's 2nd best player wasn't Javale McGee. :-) [Reply]

Ingram and Kuzma improved a fair amount in spite of Lebron trying to tradre them. Trying to say McGee is their second best player is just Lebron ball washing. [Reply]
None of this should take away from how great Lebron was and kinda is. Just find it amusing how things have played out. His efforts or lack of them still probably land him a 3rd team all NBA. [Reply]

When will people learn that just because you score a lot of points it doesn't mean you're doing it efficiently? Wasn't 5 years of Andrew Wiggins enough?
Both Ingram and Kuzma remain absolute trash. Kuzma's WS/48 rate is .072, his BPM is -1.5 and his VORP is 0.2. Ingram is even worse at .058, -2.8 and -0.4. They are two of the worst players in the league masquerading as decent players simply due to PPG. No, unfortunately for Lakers fans, Javale McGee is statistically their 2nd best player and it isn't all that close: https://www.basketball-reference.com.../LAL/2019.html
It isn't any wonder the Pelicans are waiting to see what Boston can offer them come July. [Reply]

:-) Do you even watch games? Or do you just look at stat sheets? Honest question. [Reply]

These three stats also show that Klay Thompson is terrible. [Reply]
