I could but I'd probably get jacked...I knew before I moved here the utilities were a bit higher, vaulted ceiling, good sized house etc etc.
I talked to them before I moved in and they told me the 12 month average here was 320 dollars. With the summer being in the 500's and the winters being around 250.
I've been here a year. My winter electric bills come in more like 200-220. My summer ones where anywhere between 480 and 600, that 600 was last June when it was 100 like every god damn day.
I think overall the flat would cost me money. [Reply]

I do level pay on both my heating and cooling, they adjust it once a year I think and it may go up or down a few bucks but every month my utility bills are the same aside from water. [Reply]

Be safe, one way or the other.
I feel a little guilty about not going in, but if I end up in the ditch at work I'm going to have to be explaining why I did what I did and what I could have done differently, to which my answer would have been "I should have just called in". Not worth it. [Reply]

Like run now my water and electric together is 206.
Independence does water and electric on the same bill for some reason.
Your gas bill outrageous?
I mean, shit, my house is 60 years old and needs new windows in a bad way. It's not small, about 2500 sf to cool, and I've never had an electric bill close to 480, got up to 310 I believe this summer and that's insane. Water through NKC is never more than 50/month so it sounds like you're just fucked all around. [Reply]

Nah my gas is never super high its right around 100 all winter. Well like my last bill is 126 for electric...32 for water and then 47 for sewer.
Like I said, my house was built in 93. It has a vaulted living room ceiling with a loft room on the side over the bedrooms that alone makes it hotter in the summer. [Reply]

Fuck man, that sucks. I had the same shit happen after the first storm. Very little damage but a colossal pain in the cock.

Not in the humidity of KC.
I went to college in Emporia and sweated 24-7 for like 4 months.

Yeah i'm really cool with that neighbor too. She was cool about it thankfully. Funny another neighbor saw it and I thought that neighbor that saw it was illegally parked so I told her move the fuck out of the way. Her mouth dropped lol whoops. [Reply]
