Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

Here are our picks:

Round 1, #28: Xavier Worthy
Round 2, #63: Kingsley Suamataia
Round 4, #131: Jared Wiley
Round 4, #133: Jaden Hicks
Round 5, #159: Hunter Nourzad
Round 6, #211: Kamal Hadden
Round 7, #248: C.J. Hanson

Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

Dude on NFL.com had him mocked to KC in the 3rd…

Another player whom I once mocked to the correct team (but a round too high), Suamataia is a former five-star high school recruit who boasts elite size and length and all the tools to be good. But Suamataia is not likely ready for the big leagues just yet and will have to have his motor revved up to earn a starting role as a rookie.

Surprised to see TJ Tampa still on the board, but then I read his pro comp is Kaiir Elam.

Makes a lot more sense now.

I think he could start, but I doubt if that's the plan, unless, when they had him in for his visit, they thought he could start now.

His physical tools, attitude, and lineage are all things that really can't be coached. I am very excited about this pick.

We don’t have fucking Jimmy G at QB to get abused.
You do realize putting a developmental LT out there with high upside could be a better option than putting someone like Donovan Smith or Mekhi Becton out there? Could be a scratch short term but pay real dividends long term?

Counterfactual: after pick 20 in the draft, what would you have done to address the tackle position that would’ve made you feel completely comfortable with that need?

Brandon Thorn is known as one of the best evaluators of OL talent and he had him as a late second. Who cares what some clown on nfl.com said?

I’m not the biggest Troy Franklin fan but I’d consider going up for him here…pretty damn good value.

I assumed he must be a toney like dumbass to fall like this but I just watched an interview with him and he's quite articulate and doesn't strike me as a dip shit. Maybe had a bad medical?

Agreed.

I think they'll try to layer him with a veteran and he and Morris will compete for the primary backup spot.

And next season Morris goes inside to replace Smith with Kingsley taking over the LT gig.

And if they can't get the veteran stop-gap, Morris is probably the week 1 starter but if he struggles much at all I think Kingsley would be ready by mid-season.
