There's been a strange increase in deaths reported in Missouri over the past few days. 30 some yesterday. 30 some today. I'm waiting for them to put out a statement saying there was some sort of reporting error.

Cases and hospitalizations in Missouri have been pretty steady.

6.4% increase in cases this week. 7% of patients tested come back positive statewide. We're also doing quite a lot of testing compared to even a few weeks ago.

Combination of more testing but also more spreading as people aren’t staying home. Right or wrong it was bound to happen with stay at home orders expiring.

No doubt.

The non mask wearing people in public probably don’t help either.

I drove through "downtown" Annapolis yesterday and it was damn near shoulder to shoulder all along the docks and in/outside restaurants/bars. Very few masks. Very few fucks-a-given.

You’re talking about masks indoors correct? I have seen no issues regarding the need for masks outdoors in public......

Indoors yes.

Not needed outdoors provided you’re maintaining social distancing.

I went to a local farm and home store a few weeks ago and most people were wearing masks. I went back today and, besides me, there were two people wearing masks... around their fucking necks. What's the point of wearing a mask but not really wearing a mask? There were probably thirty people and I was the only one actually wearing a mask. At least a fourth of them were elderly. People are clearly tired of this and no longer give a shit.

It’s a bold strategy Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for ‘em.
