I have a hope....
joffrey was such a tool....then tommen becomes king...and the kid has a heart. he's not a total shitbag. and yet....he's seemingly become another fucking TOOL! just a pussy ass puppet.

I think he's faking that shit. I think he's got something up his sleeve. I don't think he'd crap on his mother like they are making it appear he's getting ready to do.
I hope his hidden plan is busting harpy heads.

Daenerys' storyline has been shit ever since Khal Drogo died, save the dragons of course, and Arya's went to shit basically as soon as she set foot in Braavos.

They had to do a few things but mostly they've been aimlessly biding time for the rest of the story to advance.

I guess it is safe to say that whoever wrote the Arya story line the last few weeks used to work for some big motion picture company and is infatuated with the Terminator or some other Schwarzenegger-eque movie plot. Everything about the story was just atrocious. "I used to stab my boyfriends in the spleen, so I learned how to stitch them up. I'm such a good surgeon you'll be able to jump off a 4 story building in less than a week."

Tommen + Tyrion would of been a good combination. Tommen would of listened and Tyrion gives good advice.

Dany + Tyrion will probably be a bad combination because Dany doesn't listen and has the charisma of particle board.

Now that Cersei can't do trial by combat, how will she defend against the incest allegations?

If she's found guilty, where does that leave Tommen? #****ed

The kid may have overthrown himself without even realizing it.

The writing for KL has been much tighter than Braavos. It's strange that the quality of each storyline can oscillate so dramatically.

In Jamie's dialogue with Edmure, which I thought was great by the way, he mentioned how Cersei loved her children so much that she'd "burn cities to ash". Couple that with her exchange with Qyburn about his little bird's rumors and I'd bet she's planning on igniting some wildfire caches in King's Landing that would almost certainly end in supreme disaster.

That would set up a nice history repeating itself situation with Jamie bro forced to kill Cersei before (or after) she's able to do so, which would also fulfill the valonqar prophecy.

Training to become a stealthy assassin won't do much for battling White Walkers. And I'm not even sure that they give a shit about partaking in the war for the dawn anyway.

They're a shady organization.
No, a stealthy assassin doesn't do much for battling White Walkers. Just being around to battle them is enough if you presume that White Walkers are an affront to the Many Faced God because they exist in a not-dead and not-alive state.

If you don't buy that, then he has another motive for letting Arya walk away from being a FM and that's a knock on the showrunners for not hinting at what that is.

Because in a world full of hot-heads ready to go to the sword for the slightest offense Jaqen is the reaction to that action: he's the lay back in the cut number one super fly and he's good with whatever. His wallet says Bad Mothaphucka.

OOooooo I like, she probably wants to kill everyone after the trial because something happens to you know who.

Which is clever, but begs the quetsion -- how do you SHOW on television a fight in complete darkness?

This I definitely do agree with.

And what exactly is the point of going and joining a cool "I can change faces" cult of assassins because you really want to be an ultra-badass assassin, and then quitting before you LEARN HOW TO CHANGE FACES?
Arya's "advantage" in the dark doesn't make any sense. Logically, the Waif would have received the same training, so there would be no advantage.

She's not on trial for incest with Jamie, she's on trial for adultery with Lancel. Otherwise Jamie would be in trouble too. Her trial shouldn't logically have any effect on Tommen.

Arya wasn't hurt when she fell. It was a ruse. She used the juice of those blood oranges to mimic her stitches reopening and then left a trail back to her room for the waif to follow. It wasn't just a fight in the dark, it was a fight in the dark on ground that she chose. She set the waif up.

And i'd have to go rewatch their scene at harrenhall but I'm pretty sure jaquen took her exactly where he had always wanted to. Back to herself, but better.

I liked the whole episode, aside from the waif being a bit too terminator during that whole sequence. And seeing beric back means, again, no LSH. Which I think is a shame but it's too late for her anyway. I don't actually mind not going straight to cleganebowl, it's better to not do the obvious thing and I think both king's landing and Sandor's story may end up better for it. The scenes with tyrion were great. Everything with Brienne and Jamie was great.

I thought that too, but there is no way she healed that fast. So either she didn't get stabbed - which why would she drag Lady Crane into it? Maybe she was in on it, but Arya would feel like balls since she deaded her only friend. If she did get stabbed because she was being a mental midget, she jumped off a building after being stabbed in the guts.
