Dude has literally been on the actual roster for like 3 games. It's not like the Chiefs have done much to show they give a shit about him.
The "Marcus Kemp was a shitty gunner" fallacy combined with the limited burn that Dieter got at WR late in the season.
Hell, he might end up right - Kemp could still lose in a numbers crunch while Dieter gets a stay of execution via the IR. But Kemp is a far superior player to Dieter; stronger, more athletic and more experienced.
He's an annual afterthought but it sure looks like he's gonna play his way onto the team. Again. [Reply]

It's why Robinson has become a genuinely important part of this offense - that dude just keeps running...somewhere...until the whistle blows.
Hardman's gonna learn that as well or he won't play. Mahomes is gonna throw the ball late. And he'll throw it across his body late. And over the middle late. And aaaaallllll that shit you're not supposed to do, he's gonna do. I have to believe playing WR with him is just a completely different animal.
But if you're quitting on a route and he hangs one up there for you that gets picked off, he's gonna be pissed.
And pissing off The Franchise won't speak well to your longevity here.
Waiting for Mahomes to turn into a dick like Marino and yell at all the receivers.
Could use a soundbite where he yells "HEY MECOLE! THAT'S A ****ING EMBARRASSMENT!" like Troy Aikan. [Reply]

Me, Detoxing, and Mecca are all in agreement that Kemp sucked as a gunner.
Even if he only had a few opportunities, he failed miserably. What difference does it make? [Reply]
That is a route they do, all the time. With no challenge at the line and DB coaches that constantly preach that inside release means inside route, shit like this is nearly indefensible now days. [Reply]

I remember him missing a couple of chances to down punts I can vividly remember it 3 times, so I shouldn't say it happened "a ton" to be honest. [Reply]
I really hope they give Butker a shot from 60 in the pre-season.
By all accounts his leg is stronger than ever this year. Someone said a few days ago that he hit one from 60 that looked true from 65+.
I'm pretty sure I don't believe that but it's hilarious how strong these kickers legs have gotten. I'm not even that old and I remember when a 50 yarder was a fucking bomb. Now if you don't have a kicker with a 56 yard leg, you don't have shit. [Reply]

I remember guys like David Treadwell that couldn't hit past 39 and he was considered good....guys that could were rare. Today you better have a dude that can go 55+ if needed or your kicker sucks balls. [Reply]
Difficult to describe this in a tweet, but Patrick Mahomes just scrambled to his right before zipping the ball across his body to Tyreek Hill, who was sprinting the other way. Looked like a shortstop on the run and the throw was perfect.
