Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

If the Chiefs saw Kingsley as a great player who could fill that spot, does the loss of 30 slots in the goddamn 5th/6th really ****ing matter? What the hell were they going to draft there that is worth more than the assurance that they'd get their guy?
They didn't lose draft picks. They lost draft slots. Who the **** cares? Just draft a bunch of Spags DBs with those picks, because those are just about guaranteed hits every time. Blam. Draft value recovered.
Don’t waste the key strokes you might as well be arguing with King. [Reply]

I think you’ll see that you’re wrong if you look at this issue logically instead of just trying to defend your initial position.
The Chiefs obviously wanted both pics. I think that’s indisputable.
The Chiefs assessed that others were also interested in those pics and where a serious threat to someone else taking them. I think you’ll have to agree. The chiefs are probably in a better position to assess that than you are.
So it made sense for the Chiefs to move up as long as they didn’t have to give up too much.
I guess the only area where there is some subjectivity is whether they gave up too much. Nearly everyone on this board, and the Chiefs front office don’t think they did. That’s what I also understand everybody accepts from listening to other commentary, and the Jimmy Johnson trade chart confirms for the worthy trade with Buffalo. For the trade was San Francisco I haven’t heard that much to confirm the consensus outside this board and I haven’t looked at the Jimmy Johnson chart. But we did give up too much here it’s only in the fifth round where everything is a crapshoot anyway.
So re-examine your position based on this logic and I think you’ll end up agreeing with the rest of us. [Reply]

They'll have a season like the Texans last year. They start hot but a couple of injuries and they'll lose a lot of steam because they still have some holes in the roster. [Reply]

Ross had all that coming in too. It was just once he was here, he realized he didn't like getting hit by the bigger, stronger guys. [Reply]
