We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.
The Chiefs have essentially three days to work out their free agent safety issues. They can wait, see if they land Collins or some combination of the four or five second tier guys.
Once you have deals in place, you release Berry be end of day on the 14th, getting out of his salary guarantee, and then you process the signings with your other guys. [Reply]

If you designate him a June 1 cut, iirc you don’t get that cap savings until June 1 [Reply]
The Oakland Raiders have an agreement in principle to trade guard Kelechi Osemele to the New York Jets, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter and Josina Anderson. [Reply]

I know, but you don't have to use it now.
Signing draft picks, extending Hill and Jones, signing someone else's June 1 cut... there are a TON of things you can do with that money in June.
People are acting like it doesn't matter, cuz you don't get it now, which is ridiculous. Add in the fact that you ALWAYS want to have cap space going into the season to prepare for injury signings, and it simply is moot when the savings hits. [Reply]
