I get a Cutlerian vibe from this guy. Seems to be built like a franchise QB. Powerful arm, some beautiful passes, perfect bodytype. But he is lacking an "it" factor, is he not? He's not a world-beating, overcome-the-odds, particularly spiriting QB. Looks like he could have an okay career in the NFL in which he wins nothing of consequence.
Well if there was one Andy Reid QB in this entire draft, it's Trubisky, isn't it? Super accurate, doesn't take too many risks with the ball, is very mentally tough and very athletic. He's a slam dunk for the Chiefs to trade up for, if he lasts to the 20s, but in a QB-starved NFL with at least 6 new head coaches looking for their QB, there's no chance he lasts to us. [Reply]

You got me good though :-). Oh but do tell us more about Mike Riley and his powerhouse program. You can also describe how you know more than an NFL executive that has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.
Gil Brandt is like 80 years old and said Matt Cassel was a franchise QB. It's obvious your dumbass has never listened to him on Siriusxm. You probably can't afford it. [Reply]
I don't think Watson, Kayaa or Peterman have strong enough arms to make it in the NFL. Trubisky seems to have marginal arm strength or poor mechanics on deep balls. He had a lot of throws that could have gone big except his WR had to wait on the ball. [Reply]

I don't know about that, I'm pretty sure at least one of Watson/Trubisky would be there at 10. If not both.
The Bears and Jets are the only teams I can see in the top 10 who would draft a QB, and if the Bears do draft a QB it probably won't be until the 2nd or 3rd round because of the Glennon signing. I suppose Cleveland trading up from 12 could be a potential threat... [Reply]

And again, I don't care who KC drafts. Denver does what Denver what does, and whatever the rest of the division does, doesn't matter.
Yeah, they've drafted really well in the Elway era........or not [Reply]

Denver isn't in the market for a QB, so why all the posts about the QB's? :-) [Reply]

Who cares what his reason for posting the articles and tweets are. They're good information and unless you're going to post them, why complain about who does it? Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]

Who the **** is complaining? I'm giving KnowMo shit for clearly trolling. Sit your ass down. [Reply]

It could end up becoming much closer between those two than most would have expected back in September.
As for other quarterback landing spots, very quietly, the Los Angeles Chargers are doing ample work on quarterbacks and at seventh overall might be more motivated to find a replacement for Philip Rivers than many believe. And the Saints are going to take a quarterback with one of their two first-round picks (No. 11, No. 32) in all likelihood as well. The Cardinals are trying to gauge internally what it might take to move up from No. 13 to get a quarterback -- I continue to hear a strong buzz about them and Watson -- but that price might be prohibitive. Regardless, the Cardinals spent a lot of time last week getting to know these quarterbacks better.
The Texans are drafting a quarterback high -- they have to with an acute, pressing need -- and I don’t think Mahomes gets past them as his floor. The Chiefs are very deep in this as well with Andy Reid quite interested in seeing if one of these kids could be a franchise guy for him down the road while the Saints close the round out with the 32nd pick. Four of these QBs will end up going in the first round, I would be willing to bet, and after Trubisky it could go in several different directions.
