That is also inexcusable. I've bitched about it here before. Keep saying, especially how the Chargers game may have cost us, hopefully he has learned. But he never seems to. It seems like he thinks keeping his secret plays booked while he has a lead that he's fooling the other team. Or he doesn't want to embarrass the other team.

Yup. Our defense sucks because they suck. The scheme sucks. Too many players suck. You can't do much at this point to control that. The offense sucking with a lead is controllable bc there's no good reason scheme or talent wise for why they keep sucking in these specific situations.
We thought this issue would go away with Mahomes. It hasn't. We assume it will go away with firing Sutton. It won't. We needed to move on from Alex Smith and we need to fire Sutton, but it still doesn't fix a major underlying problem. [Reply]

Yup, don't need to convince me twice. I think some of our players will benefit from better coaching... Since they all look totally lost out there. But we have plenty of warts in key areas on D. Those need to be addressed. In the meantime, we have to play each game as if our D will blow every lead we have. [Reply]

Yeah, our safeties blow. Im not as hung up on CBs in this new nfl. And especially since our coaching has them clueless on where to even line up. I know what Marcus peters did was no excuse... But watching our CBs have no clue whatsoever where to line up without berry, you have to wonder if that's why peters blew up at grandpa Bob.
