Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Only issue I have is still his deep touch/accuracy. That's been a problem he's had since entering the league so I'm not sure he'll ever fix that.
Oh, and also, on the drive that ended in the Darrel Williams TD, I thought he was kinda shit that drive. He missed a wide open Tyreek deep down field, nearly threw an INT trying to hit Tyreek deep again while he was double covered, then threw that ill advised jumpball to Darrel 30 yards downfield. I understand the desire to go for the throat there, but I felt he could have just kept working the underneath stuff and would have yielded similar results.
Regardless, if this Patrick shows up for the rest of the year, I feel confident that we can beat anyone.
Agreed, there were mistakes. They all still have a lot of room for improvement, but the beauty of it is...it's so believable that they WILL continue to improve. This wasn't no Donks beating the Cowboys and then coming back down to earth, this is the Chiefs. They are kicking it in to high gear at the perfect time of the season. [Reply]

What I liked is that he at least picked the right time for arm punts. I feel much better with Patrick going for the kill up 13 than doing it in a tie game or behind as he had done in previous games. We also finally had some 50/50 balls go our way, which was huge. [Reply]

Darrel's either a better receiver than we know, or Abram is having such a bad year in coverage Mahomes thought he had a good chance at it
He looked like the game slowed down again for him and he was making solid reads quickly...the throw to Williams he had a wide open receiver in the middle of the field, but it worked out and you don't want to totally take that "go for it" out of him, it's why we never used to feel like we were out of it.
The scariest thing for opponents should be that he is being patient AND he still hasn't gotten all of his touch back on those long throws. I think that will come next, especially if the protection schemes continue to keep him vertical. [Reply]
Oh, and he was very accurate as well. Ball placement was really good, particularly on the shorter passes. Not so many errant passes going straight to the dirt at Kelce or Hill's feet for no apparent reason. [Reply]

I was able to do my thing down the field.”
