[Bickel] Hearing from several different people over last few days that Alex Smith is having devastating complications from his broken leg surgery battling infection. Supposedly he's had multiple surgeries to try to combat infection. Chances of him playing again in real jeaopardy.

he's going into the politics to get the soyboy sjw vote [Reply]
SERIOUSLY WHY DON'T WE REFER TO ALL PLAYERS LIKE THIS? WHY DOES ALEX SMITH GET AS11 BUT FUCKING JIMMY MURRAY CAN'T BE JM67. HUH? WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE JIMMY MURRAY.
ANSWER ME. ANSWER ME THING IN THE MOUTH FACE. [Reply]
Redskins are so screwed with this injury. $27 million signing bonus. $13 million for last season. $15 million next year is fully guarantees. That's $55 million for half a season before he got hurt. If they release him, the dead cap is $40 million. If they don't cut him, his 2020 salary of $16 million becomes fully guaranteed this March. Actually, 2020 is guaranteed as well, for injury. And he definitely qualifies for that. Now, we're talking $71 million. And they didn't even get one full season. Yeah, it sucks for Smith and I hate it for him. But that contract is killing their cap. I'll take the alphanumeric abbreviations over 'Smitty'.
I cringed -and still cringe- whenever I think of that shit. [Reply]
