I guess we filled up the old one... http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=280149

Welcome to 2014! Now get your ass in top physical condition!

No one else started it so here it is!

**From the 2013 Thread**

If you want to get back into lifting, or need a new lifting routine, START HERE:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi...inner_Programs

If you have questions about the SS programs, look here:

http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ

Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

http://madcow.hostzi.com/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Still working on losing weight but definitely getting some more muscle. Lews advice on upper/lower split has really helped I dont know why everybody doesn't do it.

Yeah as mainly use that of cardio and not weights really. Like running or cycling.

Never worry about weight. It is all about what the reflection looks like in the mirror.

I’ve kept my weight down as I was 235 back in December 2016. I’ve hovered around 173-177 since May 2017. I was 174 last Friday. I run often and enjoy it more than strength training. Although I do throw in a couple days a week of it.

I try to average 4-6 miles at least 3 days a week. Throw in b-ball one night as well. It seems I eat as much if not more than before must be due to how much more energy I burn.
Thats fantastic!

First post in here.

I stepped in a hole that was covered up by grass and sprained my ankle so I've not been able to walk for exercise. Got better and then I walked 9 miles on it in 2 days and something new became too sore.

At least I've not gained weight since I stopped exercising 4 weeks ago. I've actually lost a couple of pounds. Total weight loss at 102 lbs since January.

I’ve hovered around 173-175lbs for the since May 2017. I weighed 235 back in December 2016.

I was planning on running a 10K Tuesday around my neighborhood. I made that time in 54:14. Kept on going and ran my first 10 mile. Knocked it out in 94 minutes. I was pretty pumped.
