Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Finally getting my bench up. Man it’s tough.

No more deadlifts or squats for awhile. Partially torn meniscus in my knee from flag football.

No shit. I'm curious to see how that goes. At almost 47 I feel like I might need some of that.

I have been training for a series of 3 races that get longer each time. Marathon, 50K and then 50 miles in 7 week period. Its been a rough 5 months of training,the last 2 months really tough, first race is in 10 days.

Been running 60-70 miles a week for a while now.

I have lost about 10lbs trying to make it easier on my body. I tested at 10.5% body fat last week at 5'11" and 178lbs.

I've definitely lost some strength but nothing terrible. When I am done I will try to add about 8lbs of lean mass and stay close to 10% BF.

Too old for this shit, I am going to hit 50 and get fat as fuck.

First injection today. Was really nervous jabbing a needle in myself but no where near as bad as it seems. All mental.

I used to give myself allergy injections every week. It’s not terrible. Until you hit a nerve.
