In order to prevent us wasting precious years of Patrick Mahomes' career, Veach needs to work some magic this offseason. What's your advice for him? [Reply]

The 49ers may also elect to let him go. He’s 33 and they can grab an OT in this draft at #13 if they want. Someone like Darrisaw or Slater.
True.
The biggest concern I have about Williams is that he hasn't played all 16 games, let alone 17-20, since 2013 and at his age, it's a bit concerning moving forward. [Reply]

Yikes. I'd rather trade for Dillard and using that 20 mil you were going to give William's and get 2 good players [Reply]

He’s only missed 18 games over the last 8 seasons and part of that was the Redskins misdiagnosing his cancer. [Reply]
We’re not getting a LT who doesn’t come with SOME issue.
Williams - 33 and expensive. Missed some games. Top 3 LT when he plays.
Dillard - Has been injured and so far hasn’t lived up to draft pick. Has upside, young and cheap.
Reiff - A little less than a lateral move for Fisher. Should be cheaper.
Draft a LT - Unknown who you will get a 31. Young and cheap.
Orlando Brown - Isn’t an exact scheme fit, costs money and picks. Upside and young. [Reply]

It makes no sense. Why not put that money towards resigning your more valuable guys or get some WRs/CBs? Oh well, guess this means that Linsely is as good as gone. [Reply]

One of his two missed last season was covid. The other was the last game of the season on a sprained elbow (?) that they put him on the IR just to open up a roster spot. I would assume if they were playing for a playoff spot that game, he would have played considering he played every snap the week before. Couple that with the off year in 2019, and he should be pretty fresh for someone going on 33. [Reply]

So fucking dumb.
But at least it probably keeps Najee Harris from falling to the Bills or Bucs. [Reply]

You look at their top 3 picks in the 2020 draft, which looked bad enough last year, now looks really fucking bad.
Rd 1 - QB Jordan Love
Aaron Rodgers says hello as one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL for the foreseeable future.
Rd 2 - RB AJ Dillon
Already had one of the top 5 RBs in the NFL in Jones and now he is re-signed.
Rd 3 - TE Josiah Deguara
A 6'2" TE that saw a whopping 2 catches and was a tremendous reach at the time... Meanwhile, Robert Tonyan breaks out and looks like a top 5 TE in the NFL, and if not at least top 10. [Reply]
