Inflammatory process attacking the body causes harm to varying degrees , not speculation.

I understand avoiding it might be impossible but if I had the choice of getting it and surviving and not getting it the choice would be the latter , immunity sounds nice but for some it might come at a cost even if it doesn’t kill them.

It may not be speculation but its a very general statement that by itself doesn't mean a lot without actual data behind it.

By that standard any infection causes harm to varying degrees, yea we know this.

We are the 3rd most populated country in the world and we have ran the most tests. We have tested damn near as much as Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK and France combined.
Testing per capita isn't a game. It's the only figure that really matters, for obvious reasons.

I agree it was general statement , saying it doesn’t hurt kids would be as well.

Because no where else in the world have I seen them reporting this

This was first reported in England a few weeks ago and it is related to covid infections. The belief is that children are recovering and their body for some reason initiate a large inflammatory response.

Soundds like remdesivir isn't likely going to be a game changer. Some benefits, but relatively minimal.

Bummer.

Agree, but cases and deaths should be expressed and tracked on the same basis, but by and large they are not.
