I doubt anyone wanted to pay him whatever part of that 8.5 he'd be due. Also, Sammy has been a FP at practice (I believe), maybe they just wanted another target for peanuts just in case someone goes down. Marcus Kemp and Gehrig Dieter are active WRs on our roster. Adding a guy who had first round talent to a reclamation contract for what I'm assuming is vet minimum doesn't say much about Watkins, especially since he's practicing. [Reply]

Yeah. I was totally against it at first until guys started posting the work ethic could have been the shit QBs he's played for (I'm looking at you Cam). We have zero to lose by doing this. [Reply]
