So I'm eligible to upgrade my cell phone again August 1st. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S2 through Sprint and was ready to get the S4. Now I see that LG is set to release their Optimus G2 sometime in August.

Dude I can't even download apps onto that thing. It's a huge pain in the ass. The phone really isn't set up to easily use them like the iPhone. [Reply]

Yep. Blackberry sucks. Huge pieces of shit. My niece went through 3 in 1 year. [Reply]

I wouldn't buy anything until the fall announcements happen.
I've been using iOS 8 and they're definitely smoothing out some of the rough edges from next year. Considering Samsung's track record for not pushing updates, I'd wait on an android purchase until Android Lollipop is released. [Reply]

???
Even the Note 2 has Kitkat.
You can pretty much bank on every single flagship that is currently available getting the next version of android. Waiting to buy a phone because of the next version of android is just dumb.
Wait to buy a phone because its just about round 2 of flagships for the year. [Reply]

Note III is an amazing phone. I have it and I have zero complaint. That said, you might as well wait for the IV unless you want to save money on a III when the IV comes out. [Reply]
Moto G LTE. Crazy good battery life. I crushed my OG Moto G in a door last month. I got bought three of the LTE version, for me, my Mom, and my MIL. Simply amazing phone for the price ($220 unlocked.) [Reply]
Benchmarks are leading people to believe its going to come with an 801 chip. They don't have to do anything special with it because everything they did with the X comes native on that chip, so if it still has the same experience and bare naked android then it should be a pretty ****ing fast phone.
Just hope with the 805 coming out on the Note 4 and shit that Motorola will still be able to hit that $400-$500 price range. [Reply]
