Jets are hiring former 49ers’ DC Robert Saleh as their next head coach, per league sources. The two sides now have reached agreement on a five-year deal.
From what little I've seen, Saleh looked to me like one of the strongest HC candidates this year. That said, I'm having trouble picturing just about anybody being successful with the Jets. [Reply]

Looks like a great hire if it's coming with Mike Lafleur. Brilliant to have a package deal. Surprisingly great deal for the Jets. And still a complete wtf that Easterby didn't even feel the need to interview the guy. [Reply]
