Some potentially good news from Jay Glazer on Patrick Mahomes. Indicated Mahomes’ issues were more related to symptoms similar to getting “choked out” than a concussion, but still has to clear the concussion protocol. #Chiefspic.twitter.com/ZZgoxAkKLW
This is good news, but not unexpected. From what I see, Mahomes cleared the second stage when he ran off the field:
"2. Under direct oversight of the team’s medical staff, the player should begin graduated cardiovascular exercise and may also engage in dynamic stretching and balance training." [Reply]

Wouldn’t expect it to be an issue. Not playing the rest of the game probably helped.
Just hope no ligament damage under that big toe. Strange injury. Need his full mobility. If not serious you'd think he should be okay by next week. I'd think they could numb that sucker up as well if needed. [Reply]
It makes sense. He wasn't hit in the head so a concussion is unlikely. Even Whitlock mentioned this on his tweet. Beeing woozy does not equal concussion. Getting hit in the head = concussion. I am more concerned about his toe as it would limit his mobility. We really need CEH back for this game. [Reply]
