Royals get 2 wins out of 3 games against Miami (and only looked competent offensively for a single turn at bat), and dlphg9 puffs his chest out again. Especially funny, since he cowered in fear during the worst of this recent skid, avoiding only the GDTs as he lurked and posted elsewhere. How long will he grace us with his presence this time around?
As always, I hope they win consistently. But can you really be faulted for looking at our roster and seeing a shit sandwich? Has the club's brain trust earned unquestioning faith in the face of an abysmal track record? Is the cupboard not so laughably bare, that impactful trade deadline acquisitions seem nearly impossible?
Should they prove me wrong, I’ll enjoy the run as much as anybody else, even lavishing in my own ridicule and sticking around to take my medicine.
