I really figured "All Out War" would last through the first half of next season, but it's looking like this season may finish with the capture of Negan. Does next season begin with the time jump and the introduction of the Whisperers?

I've heard that the producers have confirmed that there will be a time jump from the end of this season to the start of next season. I don't have a link to directly confirm this just heard this from some reliable You Tube channels that have confirmed the time jump.
That would lead me to believe that "All Out War" would take up all of the second half of this season and lead to the intro of The Whisperers.
I would be surprised if that's how it worked out.

Mostly because of how they dragged the Governor out. The Governor was barely a speed bump in the comics compared to the war that's coming with the Saviors.
But that timeline jump thing is intriguing, you might be on to something.
I have to re-watch it as I might have fallen asleep. Other than the taking of the explosives and zombie mowing, it seems it could have taken 15 minutes. I think this will stretch out to the big showdown at the end of the season? [Reply]
Did anyone else see a passenger in the car when Gabriel stole all the food? I did not, but I've had 3 people tell me now that there was someone in the car with him...given that he was being watched by wire-shoelace guy...I wonder if he has made some kind of deal with them, (food if they will fight) and that's why he left with one of them (if it was indeed one of them in the car)...
...so if Rick IS smiling at Gabriel, it makes a little more sense. Might have to have an episode explaining all that if true...but it's interesting... [Reply]
