We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

Be hilarious if the Patriots got him back. Pats got a 6th round compensatory pick for him in this year's draft. Nice "trade" for a one year rental when we won the SB without him. :-)

Boom. Of course, any other team in the NFL can "block" the trade of Michael to the Pats by offering more before the deal is consummated. Might be why word of it leaked. That came from Michael's agent, Michael himself, or the Eagles, perhaps trying to fish for a better offer. "Ok, if y'all REALLY want us to trade him to the Patriots...."

Michael and Martellus Bennett always have wanted to play together. Now that the Patriots are trading for Michael, Martellus is interested in coming out of retirement to join his brother in New England, per a source. Then would be the McCourty and Bennett Bros. in New England. [Reply]
