I really could care less about Colin Kaepernick. What makes me angrier is we could have had Eric Reid who is actually good and doesn't grandstand like Kaepernick. There were chiefs fans who didn't even want him. [Reply]
The reason the guy is out of the league is not an issue of talent -- it's an issue of dedication and maturity. He doesn't want to play in the NFL but wants to still be a celebrity, and that's what this is all about.
Give the guy Tom Brady's dedication, and he'd be a HOF'er. Instead he'd rather play victim in the left's political theater. Sad, really. [Reply]

You are defending air -king-
Most people know he’d be better than most back ups in the nfl. He is 32 however and shows no signs of being a long term starter, he is no where near Lamar Jackson’s level and that is his best comparison.
No one wants this dudes drama, especially when he would be the back up.
For example Why sign a back up linebacker that would bring national attention to your team that isn’t the good type of attention? Same goes for the quarterback scenario we have with Kaepernick. [Reply]

I've already said in this thread that neither Kaep nor the owners really want him back in the league and that the workout yesterday was a dog and pony show for both of their agendas. [Reply]

Then Gabbert lost the starting role in 2016 to Kaepernick. [Reply]
