We had Lucas Niang at #57 in the KC Draft Guide, so this is awesome valued. Played through a hip injury last year. This is definitely a guy earmarked to take over for one of the Chiefs tackles in the future. pic.twitter.com/a1P53sN9bL
New Chiefs OT/OG @Kbniang8 has some WILD college stats. He didn’t allow a single sack in 975 career pass blocking snaps. If that’s not impressive enough, he committed just 3 penalties on 1,982 career snaps.#NFLDraft | #Chiefs | #ChiefsKingdom

Which is why I'm not nervous about starting Niang or a rookie at LT. [Reply]
Man, I don't know about Naing playing LT. It kind of reminds me of Bronco fans looking at QB during training camp and thinking it's gonna work out fine. [Reply]

Biggest thing to take out of the recent twitter drop on Niang is that he's been working out for 12 months straight.....with the trainer suggesting no hiccups for injuries or needing time off to rest and with real attitude to getting the work in.
That would suggest Niang was healthy 12 months ago, is healthy now, didn't just sit on his ass and wait to get going when the next draft class arrived, and should be very fucking hungry to make a mark in the NFL. [Reply]
