Picked up a 4* safety out of St. Louis today. Picked us over Michigan and Arkansas, had offers from basically everyone. Number 7 safety in the country, and more importantly, from St. Louis. Drink is changing the culture and perception of the program in STL, and in one year has had more success there than Odom did over 4. [Reply]
Good example of how thin the excuses for recruiting failures by Odom (and to a lesser extent, Pinkel) were. Either you can sell kids on yourself and your program, or you can't. [Reply]

Man, it's weird. So many signs Drinkwitz is the real deal (his performance against the spread is phenomenal, love the morphing gameplans, love the hard work and prep, love the maximizing strengths while disguising weaknesses, love the recruiting effort).
But I still keep waiting for Lucy to yank the ball again. [Reply]
