Alright guys, here is a new thread for the CP $100 Fantasy Football League. The settings are listed below.
Buy-In will be $100 and will be due 1 week before the draft. Please get your payments in earlier than that though, so we can have the draft order generated. I will not have draft order generated before everyone has paid. We will be using Paypal for payments. I have sent payment instructions out to everyone, so please start getting this paid. If you need the instructions again, please let me know.
As soon as everyone has paid, we will have a draft order generated by using a random order generator online (we used one of these last year, and it worked great). Everyone's emails are entered into the system, and everyone receives the email with the draft order direct from the website, so it is fair to everyone.
I will allow the trading of draft picks as well, and ESPN is set up for such.
Now, please send me some entry fees, and let's get this going.

Doomy... you know you got him in the trade.
And Best ISN'T by far the best player... he and Mathews are/will be virtually equals when it's all said and done.
Right and turf toe is a bitch to get over in season since you aggravate every week you play. [Reply]

Which way is it lopsided? 240 points vs. 147.2 points. [Reply]

Lance Moore is not putting up 40 pts ever again and Best already has his best game of the year. You sold high and bought low guys that are more consistent week end and week out. Smart move, I'm not sure why are trying to convince everyone you got the short end of the stick here. Maybe this trade would make for an interesting poll in casino planet. [Reply]
I guess I view it a little differently. I dont think it is as lopsided as some of the other people, but I definitly think doomy got more upside on his end. But between Lance Moore, who can put up numbers and fast, and Best-when healthy, has good upside too. [Reply]

Thats the name of the game.
Somewhere Herm is saying "You play to win the game" [Reply]

I'm not trying to convince anyone I am on the short end of the stick. If I thought that, I wouldn't have made the move. However, it simply isn't as lopsided as what you guys are saying. I have received MANY good offers for Best in this and other leagues. And he wanted Lance Moore. Originally it was for Dez and Bowe. But last time Bush went down, Moore had a great season.
I'm done commenting on this trade, but I just don't like people acting like this is an awful trade or anything, and then ignoring the actual production so far. Yes, I sold high. But, if Best ends up having a Chris Johnson type year, which he could have, then I shouldn't have sold high. [Reply]

I agree 100%. Great trade for Doomy, barring anything crazy he has the league locked up now IMO. I'm not sure why is so upset, I would be happy if everyone was saying I made a Ricky Williams for an entire tems draft type trade. [Reply]

However, Matthews hasn't done anything yet. Of course I like his upside, but Best has clearly outperformed him so far in the year, and is much more explosive.
That pre-draft trade was pretty even.
Yours aint even in the same ball park.
BTW: I'm not for vetoing the trade just bustin your balls.
It takes 2 sides to make a deal. [Reply]

It's funny you want to look at it that way, but no, it really wasn't.
That's why someone started a thread on the ESPN site saying you raped him on that. Of course, it probably was more even than people gave it credit for at the time. Much like this one. [Reply]
Doomy... BCD makes a great point.
We should have the option to vote for trades since we all have a vested interest.
I wouldn't have voted against the trade but since so much is at stake the option would be nice.
Something like you have 24 hours to approve or deny the trade.
majority wins. [Reply]
