I saw an ad for a place where you could submit a photo of your own face, and they'd print it on a mask for you. Creepy as hell, but kind of hilarious.

That link has thousands of designs.

There was a pretty funny Spaceballs The Facemask but I got tired of looking.

They're talking about COVID transmitted by farts, so everyone look forward to mandatory buttplug regulations, . . . and spot checks. :-)

They are looking at a stool test to detect COVID before you become contagious.

They've largely left everything up to the states anyway, so I'm not sure it'll matter much.

This article says there would be a difference in infected and deaths with and without mitigation.

It's common sense

If we didn't mitigate we would have had the same number of infections but probably more deaths due to lack of resources in the hospitals.
Here is what Dr Fauci has repeatedly said about flattening the curve

I wish someone could find the models that show 1 to 2 million deaths and show the number of infected vs the 80k model's number

But those 'differences' are on two premises.

One realized, the avoidance of overburdening hospital facilities
One speculative, that 'something' will happen to mitigate the virus, vaccine, improved protocols, seasonal changes in transmissability, etc.

The gains we got from flattening are realized gains. And there's little to suggest that the speculative amelioration has made any progress.

You want to argue that we just need to hold on for a while longer, that's fine. But until we ACTUALLY OBSERVE ameliorative developments, whether it's a vaccine or a mutation, or whatever, we're not reducing anything further. Only prolonging. So be honest that 'a while longer' could indeed be 'a while longer'
