I guess that seems pretty good for 200k cases daily. Probably gives us a measure for how many cases they think aren't being caught now.

So we are on track for 70K + 80K = 150k by June 1?

Yikes.

If we discover that, as suspected (and hoped for) that the antibodies show you had it and can't get it again which is a huge assumption then I'd pay 500 bucks to know, easy.

But for the hundreds of tests out there that essentially do NOTHING and aren't even FDA submitted, much less approved?

I'd pay ****ing zero because you may as well take a Scientology e-meter test.
What I respect about this post is how all in you are on the fact you’re right. Well played sir, keep that passion. 3 million people thus far show with some certainty that antibodies do mean you have protection, now for how long is the big question. The fact they are treating the sickest patients with recovered patients blood plasma is a pretty good sign of antibody meaning protection. Immunity forever, that’s a different story altogether although the latest science says this Coronavirus mutates far less than even the seasonal flu. “But there’s 30 strains already....” 30 strains that the science says so far would all be protected by the antibodies a “survivor” produces against any given strain. Don’t know for certain yet, but the prospects for significant immunity are looking very very positive.

I dont think you understand the impact economically just like you think I dont understand the impact from a health perspective.

It's a good thing some places are starting to open up albeit slowly.

Less than 1000 deaths today. So that’s good but Monday’s and all

People heard that flu shit and won't let it go. No matter where you get your news or your information you should do some critical thinking, we seem to have lost that as a society in general.
Maybe if the public wasn't told it has a CFR/IFR of 4% and a R0 of 5 at the beginning, and we need to flatten the curve, before we can open up... We've done that, and the curve has been flattening and we are slowly opening back up. The projected IFR for those under 65 and healthy is expected to be similar to the flu. That's critical thinking. How do we accommodate the risk for those vulnerable, while at the same time getting 30,000,000 Americans back to work, decreasing suicide hotline calls, domestic violence calls, and hoping the decrease in Child abuse isn't really just no one being able to interact with kids outside of their family...

And you are calling others dumb... When in reality, not to recognize both sides, the true risk we know now, and understand there is a middle ground to this issue. You say 2/3 approve of staying locked down. I'm guessing they have a job, at least for a while longer... Do you think that number will stay at 2/3 if we lose another 15 million jobs as predicted in May/June? What about when the extra stimulus runs out?

Yeah and a lot of states have yet to report. That being said, it could be some of the lowest Sunday-Monday numbers we have seen in a long time.

I enjoy John Oliver as entertainment, but that segment is already outdated. That’s how fast this whole thing works, new science hour by hour, and the science I posted a few hours ago looks damn good for immunity.

Also this is a FDA approved antibody test:
