It’s gonna be even worse this year with Watkins joining our team.
Radio looks more confused and helpless on the sideline than Andy menu browsing at a vegan restaurant.

What a turd hire. We know Elway is always drunk but I'm guessing he had a handful of Friday night Flintstones in him when he made that call.

:-) Sua Cravens? That dude is more likely to retire over a hangnail than make an actual impact on any games. Knowmo continues to prove just how delusional and stupid he is.

You can count on one hand how many guys can do a decent job covering Kelce 1 on 1. One is a Chief, and none of them are Broncos.

Is that why he has MULTIPLE big plays per game every time he plays you choads? :-)

Gotta hand it to you, Knowmo. I've always been uneasy about cheering for Hill, but now I just don't give a shit. He triggers you and your ilk, and that's good enough for me.

There used to be a committee that decided home and away based upon the opponents prior to the start of the season. Many years ago, I recall some talk about Shula being on the committee and KC always played Miami in Miami.

Would I call it a conspiracy? Not necessarily, but it is odd that KC seems to get the harder opponents on the road, as opposed to Denver.

You can see that in 2022... all but 2 games are known, home and away. Now, in 2021... there will be those complaining about that home and away schedule and screaming foul, but it was known 4 years earlier.

Chiefs 2022 Schedule
vs. Denver Broncos
at Denver Broncos
vs. Oakland Raiders
at Oakland Raiders
vs. Los Angeles Chargers
at Los Angeles Chargers
vs. Indianapolis Colts
vs. Houston Texans
at Jacksonville Jaguars
at Tennessee Titans
at Arizona Cardinals
vs. Los Angeles Rams
vs. Seattle Seahawks
at San Francisco 49ers

AFC North
AFC East

So, the 2018 home and way schedule was known years ago... aside from 2 teams and the actual 'date of the games'. Opponents are known years prior now.

It's not who you play but when and where...Curious, do you have the stats for the past few decades (you can go back farther if you like) on how many times the Last Place Denver Broncos were given a home stacked early schedule to help with getting off to a good start, as opposed to the rest of the division? A good place to start would be to go back and look how many times the rest of the division had to start their 1st two games on the road as opposed to Denver...But guys like you will argue that there is no bias in Denver's favor. :-)

You guys covered that earlier... I was addressing the home and away portion of the discussion and how it's planned pretty far in advance. And, I still think the greater advantage for Denver would be having more home games late in a season when teams are dealing with injuries and colder weather. And, with regards to the history of early home games -- I can't rationally explain it and don't believe I've tried to do so. If I were a fan of another team, I would be in an uproar over it as well. What I have said is this - I would like to see if there are other teams that have had similar scheduling over the years. I would be surprised if it were just Denver, but if someone wants to do the research league wide, go for it.

Oh, - I'd bet some have enjoyed that advantage but I'd guess not many, and maybe not any, to the same level as Denver...

Tell you what - I've never seen you or met you but I am willing to bet you that if you and I raced 10 times, and you give me the lead at the start of each race, I'll win way more than I lose. In most any race, the advantage is at the start. It's a simple concept. You're not stupid by any means - you understand this concept - you're just being "you" on this issue :-) because of the overwhelming advantage that Denver has enjoyed for decades, over the rest of the division, at the start of each season due a favorable front loaded home schedule.

That dude just got busted for rape and is out on a $50,000 bond. If he wasn't wealthy, he'd be in jail right now. Winston got 3 games for allegedly touching an Uber driver "inappropriately" without any formal charges filed....you think the NFL social nazi's are going to just brush off an actual rape case?

Good luck with that...

My opinion has always been that at the end of the season, it all nets out. All of those early home games mean late road games. They won't be in a better position to win those late road games with the schedules they've had. Look at McDaniels and his decline that year.

They could play all 8 home games to start a season... go 8-0, doesn't mean they'll do any better in the final 8 road games.

Sure, they can get an early cushion, but the schedule evens out. I still believe the greater advantage would be Denver hosting more late season home games when it's cold and teams are dealing with injuries. Playing in Denver early when the weather is nice, I would suggest that makes it better for the visiting team.

Dealing with the elevation is really the same no matter when you play there... teams are not as beat up early on. That's been my only position.

Your race analogy doesn't really compare unless we're going to race 16 times and we flip who gets the head start. But, carry on.

I realize we'll never agree on this one and that's fine. I would still prefer them to have more late home games. I'm not going to worry much about it until someone decides to waste a day thumbing through league wide comparisions to see how many other teams have seen a similar flow to their schedules.

I hate the cheating Donks as much as anyone, but I'm not going to agree with the last couple of posts. First of all, he doesn't really suck. I wouldn't mind having him as depth on our d line. Hell, he might even start over Allen Bailey. Secondly, I'm not so sure that the league can do a lot about an alledged incident 5 years ago, before he was in the NFL. Who knows if there is even anything to the charges. I mean, why wait 5 years to report it? Maybe he did it, but how do you prove it after 5 years? We know that Hill did what he did. We don't like it, but most of us don't hold it against him because it happened long before he became a Chief and he's been a model citizen since being here. However, the morons calling him the KC Strangler better be just as hard on Goatsex, or thry can :-) about Hill.

I haven't paid much attention to the details around Winston and haven't seen any real updates or details on Gotsis. If he did rape the woman, by all means, they need to drop the hammer on him. I wonder why there was a 5 year delay.
