Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Mahomes has talked to both Watkins and Jones this offseason and says he wants to keep them here. He also said he wants his contract done in a smart way. And last takeaway is that he is unsure of visiting the White House
The site of Patrick Mahomes walking the Masters gallery while cheering on Tiger has me looking forward to April. That's my takeaway here. But you guys can stay for the contract talk. @TerezPaylor caught up with the NFL's new king. https://t.co/FcRdxo71Ih

Anyone signed a percentage based deal yet?
Wasn't Russell Wilson close to doing that?
I wouldn't be surprised if the next CBA contained a restriction on top salaries that requires them to be no greater than X% of the salary cap. People will say that sounds stupid, but all the guys in the league that aren't super stars should argue for that. With a cap floor in place and a max percentage on top earners, the guys at the bottom and in the middle would start to make damn good money (relatively speaking amongst their peers). [Reply]
It's no surprise why the Pats had the run they did, great coach/QB, a QB who understood what his contract could do to help matters. I hope Mahomes picks up on that.
Not talking Mahomes here just NFLers, when I hear......provide for my family.....huh? Your parents/my parents did ok and never made anything remotely close to what these guys make. A struggle at 20 mill a year, ya need 30? [Reply]
