Cops still have a right to protect themselves. If you are fighting with them, who’s to say you aren’t going for a gun when you’re opening your car door and reaching inside?
And let’s remember in this instance the officers had been told he had a woman’s keys, wouldn’t return them and was wanted for domestic and sexual assault.
Yknow what it looks like if they just let him get in that car? Looks a hell of a lot like a dude on drugs (fought off three cops and shrugged off a taser) just kidnapped three kids and drove off in their moms car.
That’s the world they’re in at that instant. Setting aside the obvious self defense angle, there’s no way on earth they can let that man into that vehicle knowing what they knew.
So now are we really back to ‘just shoot him in the knees!”? Again?

The problem is that in many cases, there's no justification for killing someone.
But my words don't matter. I'm not an African-American. I've never had to deal with type of situation in my entire life.
Within Bucks, there's sentiment that team wants to continue playing here, sources tell ESPN. The team's statement about it "imperative for the Wisconsin state legislature to reconvene after months of inaction..." was an important element of action that players want to influence.

Okay, then let's call it like it is:
If you're Black and you fuck up, you're a dead man. Plain and simple.

White police officers killing unarmed blacks compared to blacks killing other blacks... which occurs with greater frequency?
