Okay guys I guess we're going all in I say we get a shortstop, bring Perez back early, trade for two bullpen guys. We need to trade Singer, Kowar, Pratto, Phillips, Lynch, and of course Witt Jr for rental pieces so we can make the Wildcard and win the World Series again.

I get why the owner would want to keep Whit. Ticket sales. But as a fan? There is absolutely no point.
WtF? This dude is like the opposite of Facebook fans, but somehow just as dumb. [Reply]
How reliable is fangraphs? They still have our farm system as 27th which is very underwhelming. Baseball America has us now with 4 top 100 prospects, so I'm not sure who to trust. [Reply]

I think it's time though we need to talk about the elephant in the room, Nicky Lopez. He's been disappointing at the plate. Much higher strikeout % than I thought he would be, and lower BB % than I thought he would be. Seems like a grinder though, so we'll see how he will adjust. [Reply]
@Shauncore: "Rival clubs are expressing interest in Royals left-hander Danny Duffy and closer Ian Kennedy, but only if Kansas City pays down their respective contracts. Royals are not inclined to make that type of deal, according to major-league sources."
