The first games of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) are this weekend. I haven't followed it and at this point I'm not that interested. However, a friend called me all excited. He said CBS will be carrying all the games... that seems interesting. I seen an NFL Network logo on the AAF website... that seems interesting.
What's your take? Is your DVR set? Why should I care?

This. Same as the XFL(original and the next one). People are so desperate for wanting good football outside of the NFL, they’ll wear beer googles for a few games. I give this league an over/under of 2 seasons. [Reply]

They stay at eight teams they will last as long as they want. I'm not bearish on their chances in the slightest so far since everyone from the stakeholders, players and fans are on the same page for what the league is meant to do. [Reply]

Maybe if it had to survive on its own. I see this league being acquired by the NFL and used to develop players and test rules changes [Reply]
