Alright guys, here is a new thread for the CP $100 Fantasy Football League. The settings are listed below.
Buy-In will be $100 and will be due 1 week before the draft. Please get your payments in earlier than that though, so we can have the draft order generated. I will not have draft order generated before everyone has paid. We will be using Paypal for payments. I have sent payment instructions out to everyone, so please start getting this paid. If you need the instructions again, please let me know.
As soon as everyone has paid, we will have a draft order generated by using a random order generator online (we used one of these last year, and it worked great). Everyone's emails are entered into the system, and everyone receives the email with the draft order direct from the website, so it is fair to everyone.
I will allow the trading of draft picks as well, and ESPN is set up for such.
Now, please send me some entry fees, and let's get this going.

I was really counting on Spiller coming up big this year, which now unfortunately doesn't seem to be the case at all unless it's in special teams. So I figure I have to hang onto Wells....especially now that he played last week I figure (or at least hope) it's only a matter of time before he takes the starting nod over Hightower. Lord knows Wells' potential is way higher anyways.
I'm now hoping that Marshawn Lynch gets traded. Luckily I'm pretty good at waiver wire pick up [Reply]
You basically got Best (a rookie inconsistent RB) while giving up Matthews (a potential all star) and Tomlinson (#1 RB in NY) AND McNabb's #1 target. [Reply]
Yeah, I'm not in contention so I really don't care a whole lot, but that trade may have been borderline veto worthy. Crazy stuff can happen, but that may have just handed him a nice chunk of change. [Reply]

Oh, give me a break. We were both sending trade offers back and forth the last two days. You wanted Best (as did a lot of other people based on trade offers), and he is far and away the best player in that trade to this point in the season.
Didn't you immediately start doing this same thing after your trade with wutamess pre-draft? Immediately thought you got the short end of the stick. [Reply]

Are you kidding? This is two 3-0 teams making a trade. Obviously there is no collusion, so why on earth should this have even been considered veto worthy. The only way a trade should ever be vetoed is if there is suspected collusion. Clearly that isn't the case here. [Reply]

You know you don't have to accept the trade don't you. I have a feeling you were feeling pretty good about the trade until you read what others thought of it. [Reply]

This.
Doomy... you know you got him in the trade.
And Best ISN'T by far the best player... he and Mathews are/will be virtually equals when it's all said and done. [Reply]

Of course I like the trade for me, or else I wouldn't have made the deal. Just like you probably liked your pre-draft trade for yourself.
However, Matthews hasn't done anything yet. Of course I like his upside, but Best has clearly outperformed him so far in the year, and is much more explosive. [Reply]

I agree there was no collusion. I wasn't aware that was the standard for vetoing a trade in this league. It some leagues making such a lopsided trade without collusion can still be vetoed by a vote of the league members or commish. Like I said I'm 0-3 I don't care enough to fight over it. [Reply]
