Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

Man if we pick him, there are gonna be jerseys everywhere, this fan base loved the shitty white WR's we had, if we get a good one it's gonna be ridiculous. [Reply]
This is your savior? This is the guy people expect to get 85 receptions, 1000 yards, and 8-10 TDs in the NFL when he never sniffed it in college? That, my friends, is called hype. [Reply]

Yea I mean run first offense without a top end QB...
UGA doesn't throw the ball all over the yard like a lot of colleges these days. [Reply]

College production, imo, is one of the most insignificant metrics you can use. [Reply]

no one ever said that unless they meant it ironically. [Reply]
I don't want McConkey at 32 but wouldn't hate it if it happened after a run on WRs and OTs. Gonna miss all the fun due to the time difference. Hope you all enjoy it, hoping for the miracle of both a WR stud and an LT solution. Also reminding myself when I check in and there's a late round DB drafted I will have no opinion but "Veach kinda has this". [Reply]

You're just looking at totals when he played in a run first offense with average QB play and dealt with injuries this past year. Production is always an issue with Georgia WRs. He's the most productive in recent history, which says a lot.
Look at his YPRR. Look at the WR class efficiency chart and how he blows everybody else out the water. Watch the tape.
Also, nobody used the word "savior". Why do you continue to miss the point? He's just a really good safe football player that would get a lot more looks in this offense than he did in college. [Reply]

IMO, Ladd is another guy in a long list of guys that should be a 2nd round pick.
There's a very nice, talented pool of WR's that will go in rounds 2 and 3. There's like 10 guys in that pool where you can go, "Ok, yeah, i can see what they like about him".
Hence why i think the Chiefs aren't going to target a WR in round 1. [Reply]

We will all fight at the Ladd McConkey Statue in 20 years...:-) [Reply]

If there's a good fatty at 32 we take them, if not, Veach may trade back a handfull of spots and get Ladd or another worthy receiver. [Reply]
