Banyon posted this in dc but I don’t remember it here but it would be huge. That’s how you’d stop the asymptomatic carriers and test and trace

I think they are looking into a stool test than can pick it up before people become infectious.

For those that is just a NY problem, well NY is doing fairly well now in comparison to the rest of the country. I think we will continue to go up in cases, hospitalizations and deaths if states continue their re-opening plans.

I was encouraged to read the Mississippi's governor is considering not doing any more re-openings because they had a surge in cases etc.

There's too much incentive at this point for them. These companies are racing for it, it won't be a year.

I think this is why it was a mistake to lock down everything at the same time. Not everyone was on the same curve.

I think the hope was if you locked down early enough you would not get a curve at all , but it seems we underestimated it’s virulence

Needed to lock down in early February likely for that to happen.

We locked down to keep our hospitals from being overwhelmed.
We've accomplished that.
Thanks Trump

DaFace, is there data out there that shows that it was peaking in some areas before the lockdown?

Maybe but once it gets in your state and you lock down you need to stay that way for 8-10 weeks minimum. For us Missourians he didn't lock down to April 6 so we really need to be continued lock down until July

Couple of explanations:

America is one of the most visited countries in the World. The top countries in this category have all been hit, all worse per capita than the US...

https://www.google.com/search?q=most...hrome&ie=UTF-8

NYC/NJ - Kept their subway system open and didn't start disinfecting it nightly until 4 days ago. Count all at home deaths as Covid-19 and issued do not resuscitate orders to their field medical personnel. If you take out NYC/NJ America kicked ass controlling this virus, specifically if you compare it to the EU countries...

Do you understand why they gave DNR orders?
